What we do
QikTruck is a transport marketplace for South Africa. On one side are people and businesses that need something moved: a couch across town, a three bedroom house to another city, weekly stock to stores. On the other side are owner drivers with bakkies and trucks who want steady work. We put the two together with a fixed, upfront price and a driver who turns up.
You can book a bakkie, 1 ton, 1.5 ton, 4 ton or 8 ton truck, open or closed, with the driver and fuel included. Add helpers for heavy items and Goods in Transit cover for valuable loads. Businesses get scheduled deliveries, a dashboard and a 30 day account. Everything runs on the website and the customer and driver apps.

Vetted drivers and vehicles
Every driver and vehicle owner goes through document review, a physical vehicle inspection, fraud checks and criminal checks before approval. That can take up to 20 business days, and we would rather wait than approve the wrong person.
Goods in Transit cover
Add cover when you book and declare the value of your goods. Cover applies from collection through delivery and is underwritten by licensed insurers. QikTruck is not the insurer. How GIT cover works

Our Johannesburg support team is on phone, WhatsApp and email seven days a week. If a trip goes wrong, you deal with a person who can see the booking, reach the driver and sort it out.

Can I trust QikTruck drivers?
Yes. Drivers and vehicle owners go through vehicle inspection, fraud checks and criminal checks before they are approved. You can rate the driver after every delivery.
Is my load insured?
You can add Goods in Transit cover when you book. Declare the value of your goods so cover applies from collection through delivery. QikTruck is not the insurer. Cover is underwritten by licensed insurers.
Where does QikTruck operate?
All nine provinces of South Africa. Most trips run in Gauteng, the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal, with long distance moves between cities.
How do I pay?
Card or EFT. Pay when you accept the quote, when the job starts or when it ends. Business clients can apply for a 30 day account. Use only the payment details on your QikTruck quote or invoice.
