Define the handover at both ends

Dispatch data should identify the part or product, packaging, item count, verified mass, dimensions, collection readiness and receiving deadline. Add site access, induction and PPE requirements before the driver arrives.

The sender and receiver should each own a handover check. This prevents a transport status from hiding a quantity, paperwork or readiness problem.
